This NCBC webinar presents practical applications of structural lightweight and internally cured concrete produced with expanded shale, clay, and slate (ESCS) aggregates for bridge infrastructure. The presentation draws on recent experimental and analytical research to demonstrate how ESCS concrete improves stress–strain behavior, reduces modulus of elasticity, mitigates cracking, and enhances durability in bridge decks, girders, and pavements.
