The American Concrete Institute (ACI) will recognize outstanding leaders and contributors to the global concrete industry during the Spring 2026 ACI Concrete Convention in Rosemont, IL. The Institute’s prestigious honors and awards celebrate individuals whose careers, research, leadership, and service have significantly advanced concrete technology, education, and industry practice worldwide.
During the convention, ACI will bestow its highest honor – ACI Honorary Membership – upon five distinguished members whose careers have demonstrated exceptional leadership and enduring contributions to the concrete industry and the Institute.
The 2026 ACI Honorary Members are:
First elected in 1926, an Honorary Member shall be a person of eminence in the field of the Institute's interest or one who has performed extraordinary meritorious service to the Institute.
Alongside our new ACI Honorary Members, ACI is proud to celebrate the extraordinary personal successes of 20 new Fellows. An ACI Fellow shall have made outstanding contributions to the production or use of concrete materials, products, and structures in the areas of education, research, development, design, construction, or management.
ACI will recognize 15 individuals who have reached the milestone of 50 years of membership in the Institute, including:
